Happy anniversary John and Paul!

Once upon a time there were two little teddy boys, called John Winston Lennon and James Paul McCartney. Just another John and another Paul you might think, but no! They met on bright summer's day in July 6, 1957 in a church fete and circling each other like cats they found a mutual liking of one another. "He looked like Elvis, I dug him." Later said Lennon.
Their friendship grew, connecting the two young teddy boys by their similar losses. Their mother. Eventually making this bitter happening a sweet link in the chain of the their relationship.
Time passed and the friendship grew deeper as they seemed to write their stories into their music, connecting in levels that no one had seen before, by the simple exchange of a glance and yet having no idea of what was to come.
Hamburg, first, made them man and Paris made them human, giving them the one solid memory to hold on to as their life was suddenly spun out of control.
1962, 1963, 1964 and suddenly it hit the world. BeatleMania! 1965, 1966 and suddenly it grew to be too much. The two teddy boys were now men, with families and personal needs that all their traveling around was just not do-able anymore.
Working in the studio gave them a few more years together, a few more years of ignorance, drugged bliss before they realized the truth.
They had grown apart.
The connect faded and before they knew it, they weren't they anymore.
The tug of war started, the fighting and arguing, till it finally ended.
You may think they never spoke again, but no, the connection was too strong between the two, and soon the phones began being picked up, letters send and actually happy news and gossip was being shared. It was like they were back, as long as they stayed away from money and stayed on John's cats, Paul's sheep and their kids.
Who would have known though, that the sweet bliss would last so little. "Remember me every now and then old friend" John's words still rung freshly on Paul's mind when he was taken away by those 5 shots. He was gone.
Johnny and Paulie, who would have known that those two no good teddies would go through so much in so little time and change so much more in the process. Effecting everyone's life till today.

The end.
